My research is ongoing and without going into too much detail, I can say that fieldwork is being done.
It is a period of data gathering and new discoveries of more sites based on my solar theory of the Mycenaean civilization in the Livatho Valley in Kefalonia. I see new bronze age structures with unique solstice orientations and solstice alignments with the major sites - to be explored.
It seems to me that the unique religious focus on Helios/Solar worship that occurred in Rhodes during the Classical and Hellenistic period also took place in Kefalonia during the Bronze Age/Mycenaean period in the Livatho Valley of Kefalonia.
My view that a certain location was a major bronze age site in the past has been confirmed. Much more work needs to be done.
I do not believe any Greek Bronze Age researcher to date has ever discovered a distant site by predicting solar/lunar alignments of existing sites as I have done. In 2020, I discovered a megalithic solar cult center which "guided" me two kilometers away to another site which indeed, is a significant Bronze Age site.
My belief that The Odyssey is a story of a solar hero... an individual that follows the sun's journey, which includes visiting the underworld, has only been strengthened.
These discoveries will change how we see Greek Mythology. Regarding The Odyssey in particular, I believe the ritualists, the archaeoastronomers, and the exegesis/allegorists were correct. This myth grew from a ritual and served many purposes.
Stay tuned.
